Introduction
If a customer reports missing or incorrect items in their order, it’s important to act quickly and accurately to maintain a positive experience. One common resolution is to create a reshipment order to send the correct or missing items. This article walks you through when a reshipment is appropriate and outlines the process for creating one, so you can ensure issues are resolved smoothly and customers stay satisfied.
Steps
- Go to Shopify and pull up the order in question.
- In the upper right corner, click the More Actions button and select Duplicate from the options.
- A draft order will be created.
- Adjust the quantity and/or SKU of the item(s) that need to be reshipped.
- Once done, click the Mark as paid button.
- A confirmation message will appear - click on Create order.
- The created order will then be pushed to Portless for shipment.
