Introduction
This article is designed to provide a step-by-step guide on accessing and navigating the Merchant Admin Portal for Portless. You’ll learn how to manage your account settings, monitor stocks, and leverage the various tools to optimize your business operations.
Logging In
1. Open a web browser and navigate to https://portal.portless.com/login.
2. Enter your username and click Forgot Password below the Sign In button. You should be able to receive a reset password email in your email address.
3. Once you’ve reset your password you can now sign in.
Dashboard Overview
1. Upon successful login, you will be directed to the dashboard. The dashboard displays metrics such as the number of orders per month and the number of SKUs that are out of stock or low in stock.
Navigating the Portal Sections
1. On the right side of the dashboard, you will find a menu with the following sections:
- Dashboard
- Orders
- Products
- Inventory
- Settings
Exploring the Orders Tab
1. Click on the Orders tab to view a list of all orders placed on your portal.
2. The top section of the Orders tab displays a categorized view of orders. You can see orders categorized as In Progress, Shipped, Delivered, and Cancelled. Clicking on each category will provide you with a more detailed list of orders belonging to that specific status. You will also see a search bar at the top, which you can use to search for specific orders by order number.
3. Clicking on an individual order in the list will open a detailed view of that order. This view will include information such as the order progress, order history, customer information, destination details, and delivery information.
4. The delivery section will provide tracking information for both the last mile and first mile delivery stages.
Exploring the Products Tab
1. Clicking on the Products tab will display a view of all your SKUs with details such as their status (Out of Stock, Low in Stock, In Stock).
2. The top section of the Products tab will have a categorized view, allowing you to filter and view products based on their status.
Exploring the Inventory Tab
1. Navigating to the Inventory tab will show you the latest inventory, updated hourly.
2. Similar to other tabs, the Inventory tab will have a categorized view displaying SKUs as In Stock, Low Stock, and Out of Stock. You can utilize the search bar at the top to search for a specific SKU and view its inventory details.
3. The inventory dashboard will also show the specific quantity of each SKU broken down into On Hand, Committed, and Available.
Exploring the Settings Tab
1. The Settings tab provides you with a view of who in your company has access to the merchant admin portal.
Other Important Features:
1. Notifications: At the top right part of the merchant admin, you will see a bell icon. This icon contains notifications related to your account.
2. Chat Support: At the bottom right, you will see a chat bubble icon. Clicking this icon will connect you to our chat support for immediate assistance.
