Goal
Discover how to extract customer order and shipping data from your Shopify store and format it using the Portless Order Import template to request bulk order creation.
Before you start
Prepare the following:
Steps
To easily add the order details on the Portless Order Import Template, you can export the data from your Shopify store by following these steps:
1. From the Shopify admin page, navigate to the left sidebar menu and click Orders.
2.1. If you want to export specific orders (e.g., by date range, fulfillment status, etc.), use the filters to narrow down your selection.
2.2. You can also select individual orders by checking the boxes next to them or export all orders without filtering.
3. Click on the Export button.
4. In the pop-up box, choose the export options, such as All Orders or just the Selected Orders. You can also select the export file format (usually CSV).
5. Once done, Shopify sends a download link to the email associated with your Shopify account, or you can download the file directly from the pop-up window if available.
6. Once downloaded, the CSV file can be opened with spreadsheet software like Excel or Google Sheets, where you can review and analyze the order data as needed. From here, you can copy the data and paste it into the Portless Order Import Template.
