To keep inventory accurate and fulfillment smooth, follow a clear process when adding new products. Since your store is connected through Pipe17, most of the syncing happens automatically. This guide covers what you need to prepare on your end and how to confirm everything came through correctly.
Things to keep in mind
Double-check product titles, SKUs, weights, and dimensions in your store before the product goes live. Pipe17 syncs whatever is on the listing.
Provide ample lead time (3 days minimum) before sending inventory, so the sync and warehouse setup can complete.
Ensure the product SKUs in your store match the labels on your inventory shipments.
Process flow
I. Adding the product in your store
Create the new product in your store (Shopify or other connected platform) with a complete and accurate title, SKU, weight, and dimensions.
In Shopify, for inventory to sync correctly, please add the Portless location to your products in advance of inbounding your goods to our facility.
Publish/activate the product so it's live in your catalog.
Watch this short video demo for reference.
II. Reaching out to Portless
Please provide the following in the Portless SKU Data sheet, one row per SKU:
SKU
UPC/Barcode (optional)
Description (Short Customs Description: T-Shirt, Sunglasses, etc)
COGs (Cost of Goods in USD)
HS Code (10-digit)
